Your 2-day desert adventure from Fes to Marrakech begins with a pickup from your riad in Fes. Then go to Merzouga in the Sahara Desert. Your first stop will be at Ifrane, sometimes regarded as the Switzerland of Morocco due to its milder climate. Following that, you'll traverse the Middle Atlas Mountains. You'll stop along the way in a cedar woodland to watch some Barbary monkeys.
Lunch will be served at a restaurant somewhere along the road. Then you'll pass through Ziz Valley (a palm-tree-filled paradise). To see this oasis, you will need to stop at a panoramic view.
You will arrive in the desert in the afternoon. You'll be taken to your luxurious tent by camels over the dunes. You will also see the sunset from a high dune.
